Yoga has been a part of my life for many years now - exploring benefits for mind and body as well as enjoying how Yoga can begin to transform your life outside of your daily practice too. With this passion for Yoga I’m lucky to be able to share Yoga with others - teaching both children and adults. I really do believe that Yoga can benefit everyone, whether it be a gentle morning stretch, a daily practice or simply improving your mindfulness. It’s a pleasure to be able to practice with wonderful people of all ages and building relationships with students across the community.

I’m always looking to develop my Yoga practice and excited to explore where my Yoga teaching might take me to next.
Whether you're a complete beginner to Yoga or have a regular practice, Colette's Hatha Yoga classes will give you a calm space for you. The classes includes postures that can be adapted to all levels, together with breathing exercises and relaxation that will leave you feeling refreshed and calm.
"Colette's classes have been a revelation! For years I have known that I 'should' be doing yoga, but I hadn't appreciated just how much difference it would make. I would not have believed that just an hour session could leave me feeling so much more comfortable, grounded, and relaxed. Colette has a wonderfully gentle energy, which makes for a lovely, accessible class and a very welcoming environment. Very highly recommended!" Naomi
"I have loved every minute of my yoga practice with Colette. As a teacher, I am very critical of other teachers, but Colette is superb. She knows us all very well and we’re all able to do exercises which suit us. She is a lovely person and instils confidence in us all. No matter how stressed or tired I am, I always leave class feeling energised and great!" Sarah

In today’s western lifestyle, more and more people are turning to Yoga as a way of developing a healthy body and healthy mind. This is not exclusive to adults. Children from a very young age can benefit from Yoga too.
"My son has had a wonderful time at Yoga Club. He is always so excited to wake up and go, and it's always the first thing he tells me about when he leaves school. I think it helps him to relax before the day begins, and prepares him for a day of learning."
"My daughter LOVES Colette's Yoga enough to get up an hour early for an early morning class at school. She really engages Colette's fun approach and I can see it's helping her to find some calm space too. The best thing that happens at school is always Yoga on Tuesday!

My children’s Yoga classes offer a playful and sensitive approach to Yoga and mindfulness. The sessions engage a child’s creativity, imagination and build confidence in a non competitive environment. Practising Yoga helps children to improve co-ordination, strength and balance, as well as develop concentration and positive emotions.
There is a lot more social pressure on children these days and a regular Yoga practice can give them the tools to feel good in their own skin and discover their individual shining qualities.
I believe you are never too young to start practising Yoga. All classes are age-appropriate, taught in a creative and fun way which children respond to and engage with. Classes include playful games, fun activities, imaginative stories and calming relaxation.
Children will benefit even from their first class and will be keen to come back for more!
